Biography
Prof Muthusamy Palanisamy is an ophthalmologist who has a passion to teach. He graduated in medicine (M.B.B.S) in 1970 from Tanjore Medical College (affiliated to Madras University), Tamil Nadu, India. He did his training in ophthalmology in the Eye Department of Kuala Lumpur General Hospital, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the Princess Alexandria Eye Pavilion (Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh) in United Kingdom. He received the Diploma in Ophthalmology from Royal College Physician of London and the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1977. He was admitted as a Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1978. In 1989, he was admitted without examination as a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologist. He was admitted as a member of the Academy of Medicine Malaysia in 1991. He is also a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmologists. In 1982, he established the Muthusamy Medal for the most outstanding candidate in the final Fellowship Examination in Ophthalmology conducted by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in each Academic year. He has received the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh College medal for his contribution in the field of Ophthalmology to the College. He practices ophthalmology at the Muthu Eye Clinic & Surgery in Kota Kinabalu Specialist Centre, Sabah, Malaysia. He is a co-ordinator for the International Basic Science Assessment for Ophthalmologists conducted by the International Council of Ophthalmology. He is an Adjunct Professor in the Medical School of the University Malaysia Sabah. In the year 2000, he founded the Muthusamy Virtual University of Postgraduate Ophthalmology which has successful students all over the world.

Biography
Born on 28th march 1964,Dr R S Chauhan graduated from Medical college Rohtak in 1985 and completed his M.S. in Ophthalmology in1990 from the same college. For 3 years he worked in Shree Baba Mastnath Eye hospital, now a University, which was 300 bedded Eye Hospital. He joined PGI of Medical Sciences Rohtak in 1993 as Senior Resident In 1996 continued as Consultant till date. He has undergone training in L V Parsad Eye Institute Hyderabad in 1993, Premier Eye institute Aligarh in 1994, Dr R P centre AIIMS in 2004 and Dudlay Hospital Birmingham UK in 2009. He also worked abroad in Sohar Regional Hospital in Sultanate of Oman for three years (June 2005-June 2008) as Senior Specialist and HOD Ophthalmology. He had been actively involved in teaching undergraduate in PGIMS Rohtak and Oman Medical College under West Virgenia University. He is Post graduate teacher since 1998 and guided many MS student and DNB students. He has attended many International and National conferences and had chaired many session and conducted Instruction courses in SICS.He has plenty of publication and presentation to his credit. He is actively involved in Community Ophthalmology and attended more than 50 Eye camps and headed 28 eye camps as chief eye surgeon. He has more than 15000 surgeries to his credit. His area of interest are Community Ophthalmology , Cornea and Eye Banking Services, Oculoplasty ,SICS and Glaucoma. He is presently working as Professor in Cornea, Glaucoma and Eye Banking unit in Regional Institute of Ophthalmology in Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences Rohtak.

Biography
Prof. Dr. M. Nazrul Islam is Professor of Ophthalmology at BIRDEM Hospital, Dhaka, and Senior Glaucoma Consultant, cataract surgeon, and Director of Bangladesh Eye Hospital. He trained in phacoemulsification with Dr. Pannet Pangputhipong in 1997 and in glaucoma surgery with Prof. Robert Ritch in 2005. He is the President of Bangladesh Eye Care Society and Immediate Past President of the Bangladesh Glaucoma Society. At present he is the Chairman of Jessore Community Eye Hospital in Bangladesh, Board member of the Asia Pacific Glaucoma Society (APGS), Board member of Asian Angle Closure Glaucoma Club(AACGC) and Vice President of the Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh and Bangladesh Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeon. He is Chief Editor of the Journal of Bangladesh Glaucoma Society and has written five books on eye in his own language Bangla. He has been widely acknowledged with national and international awards for service in ophthalmic field.
