Dr KrupaTorne is among the few super specialists who have been internationally trained in the field of Paediatric Neurology. She has completed her Fellowship in Paediatric Neurology and Epilepsy from Maharashtra University Health Sciences at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Hospital and Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Mumbai. She has had a brief stint at the University College London Hospital, a premier academic institution cum hospital in the UK. She has been trained in Paediatric Neurology at Birmingham Children's Hospital where she successfully completed her International Fellowship in Paediatric Neurology, Epilepsy and Neurorehabilitation. At present she is heading the department of Neurosciences at Surya Children’s multispecialty Hospital in Mumbai, India. She was honoured by International Bursary from European Paediatric Neurology Society with an opportunity to attend one of the prestigious courses in Paediatric Neuromuscular disorder and Neonatal Neurology at Budapest in Hungary. As a feather in her cap she was invited as a Chief Guest in World Congress of Anatomist held in Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences in Karnataka. She is a recipient of MRCPCH UK, an internationally acclaimed medical qualification.

Her research interest is in complex paediatric epilepsies, ketogenic diet and paediatric movement disorder.

Dr. Yousef H. Aldebasi obtained his BSc from King Saud University, Riyadh, KSA in 1992 and his PhD, in 2000, from the School of Optometry and Vision Sciences, Cardiff, UK and holds the title of FAAO. He was appointed as Assistant professor, Department of Optometry, King Saud University, Riyadh, KSA in 2001. Currently he holds the rank of Professor in Department of Optometry, Dean of College of Applied Medical Sciences, Qassim University and the President of Saudi Association of Optometry. Dr. Aldebasi took over the responsibility to improve optometric services as well as education in Saudi Arabia where he has introduced number of programs aimed to improve the quality of optometric /visual care delivered to Saudi citizens and residents. He is directing a Doctor of Optometry program in cooperation with Salus University to provide strategic collaboration designed to advance Qassim’s optometric educational program.

His research interest is in Retinal Cone Photoreceptor Cells, Refractive Errors, Diabetic Retinopathy and Glaucoma.

Dr. Paulo Augusto de Arruda Mello is the Head Professor of Ophthalmology, Department of Ophthalmology, Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), Prof. Advisor of the Postgraduate Course of the Department of Ophthalmology Paulista School of Medicine (EPM) and Professor of Post-Graduation at the Federal University of São Paulo - Glaucoma. He has done his Specialization Course in Ophthalmology - Medical Residency, Master's Degree, Doctorate in Paulista School of Medicine / (UNIFESP). He is also the former Full Professor of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santos, Former coordinator of the Teaching Commission of the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology, Former President of the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology, Brazilian Society of Glaucoma, Ex-President of Pan American Glaucoma Society, Ex-President of Latin American Glaucoma Society, Scientific Council of the Brazilian Association of Glaucoma Carriers and the Brazilian Society of LASER and Refractive Surgery. He works in General Ophthalmology with emphasis on Glaucoma, Cataract, Anterior and Posterior Segment Diseases.

His research interest includes Clinical Ophthalmology, Glaucoma, Refractive Surgery, Cataract, Laser, OCT, Cornea, Visual Neuroscience, Myopia, Ocular Surgery, Anterior and Posterior Eye Segment.

Wannasiri Limsuknirun is currently affiliated in the Department of Ophthalmology, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society. She was the Faculty of Medicine at Phramongkutkloa College of Medicine, Thailand. She has done her Resident training program from Department of Ophthalmology, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand and “FDA-Regulated Clinical Investigations of Devices” Course from The University of Miami. She got her Junior Science Talent Project Scholarship from The National Science and Technology Development Agency. She was the chief of staff Internship at Fort Mengrai Hospital, Medical Department, Ministry of Defense.

Her research interest includes Keratoconus, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Cataract Surgery, Anterior vitrectomy, Dry eye, Cornea, Glaucoma, Eye Imaging, Vitreo-retina, Ocular Immunology and Inflammation.

Medical degree from Universidade de Santo Amaro (1996), Masters degree in Administration of Ophthalmology Practice (2002) and a PhD in Visual Sciences (2014) from the Universidade Federal de Sao Paulo. Full professor at USC Centro Universitario Sao Camilo; Professor of Medicine at Faculdade das Americas; Coordinator of the Specialization Program in Ophthalmology for Angola of SPDM; Supervisor of Ophthalmology Residence Program and COREME Coordinator at Instituto da Visao - IPEPO; Chief of the Neurophthalmology Sector of the Hospital do Servidor Publico Estadual de Sao Paulo. Reviewer of the Brazilian Archives of Ophthalmology and Editor of the Scientific Journal of IAMSPE.

His research interest includes in the field of Medicine, with emphasis in GENERAL OPHTHALMOLOGY, STRABISMUS, NEUROFTALMOLOGY, PAEDIACTRIC OPHTHALMOLOGY AND VISUAL CLINICAL ELECTROPHYSIOPHYSIOLOGY.

Originally an engineer, John retrained as a primary teacher serving in Liverpool inner city schools and across public private and voluntary sectors within EU Objective One programmes as community and education consultant leading to a Senior Lecturer role as Head of Physical Education on teacher education programmes at Liverpool Hope University. His MSC and PhD surround social capital, social enterprise, volunteerism and curriculum design. He is currently Principal at St. Vincent’s, a residential non-maintained School for VI in West Derby Liverpool rated as OUTSTANDING by The Office for Standards in Education.

His main research and focus remains in Blindness with securing outcomes for VI young people.
